Tradition Tattoo - About Tom Wilkinson

Tom Wilkinson was born in Poughkeepsie, NY, and began showing an interest in art very early in life. At the age of 22, he started tattooing out of his apartment in 1993, while still attending college full-time. In 1998, after receiving his Bachelor of Fine Arts degree, he was asked to join the staff at Skin City Tattoo in Newburgh, NY, an offer he proudly accepted. From there, he went on to ink flesh in studios like Aces High in Newburgh, NY, New York Hardcore Tattoo in Manhattan, Medusa Tattoo, also in Manhattan, and Big Joe & Sons Tattoo in Yonkers and White Plains, NY. On May 15, 2005, Tom went south to Charlotte, NC, to work at Old Glory Tattoo, followed by Crown Custom Tattoo. These days, you can find Tom back at Big Joe & Sons Tattoo in White Plains, NY.
